What if I told you that there is one single thing that you could do to guarantee success in any endeavor? All you have to do is wire me 10k USD and the secret is yours. Just kidding, I will give it to you completely free in this blog post.
There is one and only one reason that you are unable to attain your goals. It is not lack of time, money or resources. It is not lack of ability. It is not because you are not smart enough. It is not because you are don’t have the connections. It is simply because you give up. If you don’t give up, it is impossible to not attain your goal. If you don’t give up, success is guaranteed. In other words, if you are consistent, success is guaranteed.
If you are like I was a few decades ago, your mind is probably coming up with scenarios that this is not true. For example, “I’m only 5ft 6in. There is no way I’m becoming an NBA player”.
These hypothetical scenarios don’t invalidate the principle. In fact, they only reinforce it. Why? This is the mind’s way of not getting started in the first place. You have given up before you even started.
As proof, see Mugsy Bogues. He played for 14 seasons in the NBA. Guess what his height was? 5ft 3in. He didn’t care whether people thought he could make the NBA or not. By simply not giving up, by working consistently day after day, he made the NBA.
If I listened to all the naysayers I would’ve never played basketball, let alone the NBA for as long as I did and been able to strip Greats like MJ and Scottie Pippen🤷🏽♂️👍🏽

It can be difficult to believe that all it takes is consistent effort to reach your goals. Of course, the time frame and the effort you need to put in to reach your goals will vary depending on your innate abilities, actions of others, factors beyond your control such as time and place etc. But if you show up with consistency every single day, you will reach your goals.
P.S: I know you are really wondering. So I thought I’ll set the record straight. 5’6″ is indeed my real height. I lost 2 inches when I got off the dating sites after finding my wonderful wife.
